Yes, location of the litter box does make a difference to your cat. If you place it in a high traffic area, chances are, your cat would not like it and hence may avoid using the box altogther. Cats usually prefers having a quiet corner in house to do their daily “business”. So, to prevent the occurence of any litter box problem like cats urinating in inappropriate places, then it’s important that you find a quite place to put the litter box.
