The iconic form of the doghouse is an ingrained part of American culture. It has permeated our pop culture (Snoopy, from Peanuts) to our idioms (being “in the doghouse”). There’s very little mention, however, of the outdoor cathouse. But anyone who lives in quiet suburban or rural areas and keeps outdoor cats knows the necessity for an outside shelter which appeals to the feline crowd.
