The finest materials available are used to make this the safest possible haven for your kitty. Made with 4" solid untreated heart of pine core posts. The 6" zinc lag bolts provide secure anchoring. The carpet strands are no longer than 6". This is all designed with the well-being of your kitty in mind. No glue or harmful chemicals used on this tree.
To speed up the process of building your unit, please select a first and second choice for carpet colors. Remember, the shades of carpet may vary from what is shown here for a variety of reasons. We will do our best to match the carpet you get with the colors you choose.

The Pod Cat Condo
The POD is ideal size for smaller areas in your home or apartment. It will fit almost anywhere. The POD is tall enough so the bed fits above most window sills allowing your cat to keep track of outdoor activity. Or the POD could be placed next to your arm chair if your cat loves to be in close proximity to its “subjects”.
This multi-functional piece of cat furniture is an alternative to the ‘drab’ scratching post, and is built with the same attention to detail as our more expensive cat trees. The POD stands twenty-seven (27) inches tall and is on a base measuring twenty-one (21) inches in diameter. The bed is seventeen (17) inches wide and five (5) inches deep. The unit weights approximately 45 pounds.
Heavy duty construction provides durability for the toughest cat use. There is an extra layer of padding in the bed for added comfort. A single hole leads to a “secret” hiding place that’s fully carpeted – this area could also be used for toy storage. The upright tube is wrapped in a high-grade commercial carpet giving your cat the perfect scratching area and affording you years of trouble free wear and tear.
This tree also comes as a single unit - there is no assembly required.

Most cat furniture is single purpose and inflexible ...
Our cubes allow you to design a feline habitat limited only by your imagination. Cubes can be used alone, set side by side or stacked 2 or 3 units high and securely fastened. They come configured as a "feline cave" to allow your cat a secure resting or hiding place.
All side and back panel inserts can be easily removed, allowing you to create tunnels (either straight or "L" shaped), units with adjoining walls removed for extra spacious kitty living or a design of your own choosing. Each cube offers both a cozy cushioned interior resting place and a cushioned "rooftop" deck for your cat's perching enjoyment.
Strong enough for use by humans ...
The unique design and construction of the TrendyCat cube makes them strong enough to be used by humans, as well. Need extra seating for a party? Pull up a cube and sit down at a comfortable height (if you can dislodge the feline owner).
We've had orders from people who don't own cats that want to use them as furniture or storage units. We've even had some orders that were going to be used as dog beds or retreats for small breed dogs. (We don't tell the feline testing team about those requests.)
